DriveCab
Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
These terms govern the use of the DriveCab chauffeur booking service. By making a booking, you accept these terms.
1. Service description
DriveCab provides a chauffeur-driven transportation service in Switzerland. Bookings are made via the website, phone, or WhatsApp. A booking confirmation does not guarantee a specific driver or vehicle — we may substitute an equivalent vehicle if needed.
2. Pricing and payment
Prices displayed during booking are estimates based on the information you provide. The final price may differ if the actual trip (route, duration, waiting time) differs from the booking. Accepted payment methods: cash (CHF, EUR), bank transfer, and Twint. Payment is due on completion of the trip unless otherwise agreed.
3. Cancellation and changes
Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 12 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations within 12 hours of pickup may incur a fee equal to 50% of the estimated price. No-shows (driver arrives at pickup, customer does not appear within 30 minutes) will be charged at 100% of the estimated price.
4. Delays and waiting time
The customer is responsible for being at the pickup location at the scheduled time. For airport pickups, we monitor flight arrival data and adjust accordingly. Waiting time beyond 30 minutes past the scheduled (or adjusted) pickup time may be billed at CHF 1.00 per minute.
5. Liability
DriveCab maintains full commercial vehicle insurance as required by Swiss law. Liability for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or force majeure is excluded. Items left in the vehicle are stored for up to 14 days; please notify us as soon as possible. DriveCab is not liable for missed flights, appointments, or onward connections caused by circumstances outside our control.
6. Data protection
Your booking data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We only use your data to fulfil the booking and contact you regarding the trip. We do not share your data with third parties beyond what is strictly required to deliver the service.
7. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction is the registered business address of DriveCab, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection jurisdiction that may apply.
8. Changes to these terms
DriveCab may update these terms from time to time. The applicable version is the one published on this page at the time of your booking. Material changes will be communicated via the website.
