Route
Deep into the Engadin valley — about three hours from Zurich to St. Moritz, over the Julier Pass or via the San Bernardino tunnel, with a driver who knows the alpine roads.
The transfer from Zurich to St. Moritz covers about 205 kilometres and takes roughly three hours. In summer the preferred route is over the Julier Pass (2284 m), a scenic high-altitude crossing through Graubünden that opens the Engadin valley dramatically as you descend. In winter or when the pass is closed, the route follows the San Bernardino or Maloja approach. St. Moritz itself is one of the original alpine resort towns — host of two Winter Olympics and still a centre of winter sport and high-end hospitality. Your private Zurich to St. Moritz transfer arrives directly at your hotel or chalet.

The Julier Pass is generally open from May through November, weather permitting. In winter the San Bernardino tunnel provides a reliable all-season alternative. Allow time for the mountain sections — they are scenic but require steady driving.

About 3 hours via the A3 south towards Chur, then through Graubünden and over the Julier Pass in summer, or through the San Bernardino tunnel in winter. Mountain road conditions can add time.
When the Julier Pass is closed due to snow or ice, we use the San Bernardino tunnel route or the Maloja approach depending on road conditions. We check conditions before every departure and adjust accordingly.
Yes. The V Class is the best choice for ski bags, boot bags, and large travel cases. Please mention your equipment in the booking notes so we can confirm it fits comfortably.
For a comfortable arrival in St. Moritz by early afternoon, departing Zurich between 9 and 10 am works well. On ski weekends, earlier is better to avoid traffic on the approach roads.
Yes. The Engadin is beautiful in summer — the Julier Pass road is spectacular and the valley is far less crowded than in peak winter. Many clients visit for hiking, the Engadin lakes, and cultural events in St. Moritz.
